Product description

Nature’s Decorations makes a promise to its customers to always deliver quality products and we aim to please with our agate bookends. Agate is a stone designed by Mother Nature over millions of years. Its natural banding, often in concentric circles, is a demonstration of layers of silica building on previous layers to create mesmerizing designs. Due to this nature, each agate bookend will have its own unique and riveting formation of bands and crystals. Artisans take these raw stones and using their decades of skill and knowledge, hand-craft them into the sculptures of beauty we can enjoy.

Distinguished Quality Above All Else

Four dyed brown bookends showing different concentration of colorings

Dyed agate can be subtle or loud in color depending on the rock’s characteristics and how it takes the dye. Choose natural agate which comes in various shades of grey or brown for agate in its purest form. Or you can choose agate bookends in several colors to match your décor.

Natural bookends with gold electroplating with a sparkly hollowed center

Some agate bookends have a hollowed core where the cavities were not filled by silica during the formation of the rock. These hollow spaces have crystalline quartz growth which gives it a sparkly quality and is a desired attribute for many collectors. Display agate near a source of light and watch as it lights up the room!

Three bookends with different trims: natural, gold electroplating, silver electroplating

In its natural form, the outside of an agate has a rough texture which has a raw, earthy feel. To get a more luxurious look, agate bookends can also have silver or gold electroplating. With such variety, it’s easy to find agate bookends that will enhance any home décor style.
